I had to walk up and down the escalator steps several times during our stay, which was hard on my aging knees & heart. (Word of warning: Elevators & escalators were broken on the corner of Flamingo & Las Vegas Blvd. Not a problem for us since we always travel with our own soap and shampoo. The finger grip on the closet doors was missing, carpets already felt grubby and a couple of the plastic soap/shampoo dispensers were missing. Though newly renovated, the room was not perfect. (Couldn't really see the strip but had a great view of Caesar's Palace.) The room was generous in size, clean, beds were comfy and our room was quiet and peaceful at night. We deliberately reserved one of the newly renovated rooms and paid a little extra for a 'strip view' because we heard those rooms were quieter than the ones on the opposite side. We nearly changed our reservations after reading the negative reviews and seeing some of the nasty room pics, but so glad we didn't.
